Oshkosh Corporation Acknowledges Shareholder Filing

OSHKOSH, Wis., Jun 30, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK), a leading manufacturer of specialty vehicles and vehicle bodies, today acknowledged that Carl Icahn and related persons have filed a Schedule 13D with the Securities and Exchange Commission reporting that they have acquired beneficial ownership of 9.5% of the Company's common stock, consisting of a combination of shares and call options.

Oshkosh Corporation believes Mr. Icahn's investment is evidence of his belief in the value of the Company. Oshkosh Corporation noted it is open to dialogue with its shareholders.
